As I was getting to about the half way mark of producing a product, our class had a critique day where every artists in the classroom walks around the class to speak their opinions on what they think that other artists should or needs to do in order to correct their art to help make the art better and more understanding to the audience of what you actually trying to portray. Given this, I had many ideas from numerous different artists on what I need to do to enhance my art. I really liked the outcome of critique day because I wouldn't have thought of most of the helpful opinions given to me possibly preventing me from optimizing my art.
Artists Develop Art Making Skills
Due to our critique day in class, I was able to interpret many different ideas as to what I should do to help complete my art work. For my stereotype project, I was given the question "How does this show men being stronger than women?" After I read that, I had to agree. My art work really didn't answer the prompt completely, so I'm going to have to change my art work a bit in order to answer the question. I was also informed that my drawings of the people, which I am not very good at, were a little off. They insisted on me checking online or in books for what people look like so I can make some adjustments to make my art more realistic. I feel as though I learned quite a bit on how to make my art better, and I thank everyone in my class that helped me.
